Qigong for the transition from Spring to Summer

A Seasonal introductory workshop
with
Dr Lucia Hains (TCM)

Join me for a gentle and grounding Qigong workshop as we move from the vibrant energy of Spring into the warmth and expansion of Summer.

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese movement practice – the exercise therapy branch of Chinese Medicine. Through gentle mindful movement, breath, and awareness it provides a way to help harmonise body, mind and spirit and release what no longer serves.

Why should I do this?

In Chinese Medicine each season carries its own rhythms and wisdom. Spring invites growth, creativity and movement. Summer celebrates warmth, joy and connection.

As we move from one season to the next, our energy shifts too. When this transition happens smoothly, we feel open, vibrant and inspired. But when energy gets stuck in the spring surge, it can show up as restlessness, irritability, heat or fatigue – making it hard to settle into the ease of summer.

This workshop will guide you in

• Releasing tension and spring stagnation

• Open the chest and heart to summer’s warmth

• Cultivate energy without overstimulation

• Support circulation, digestion and restful sleep

• Foster lightness and emotional ease
