A four-part journey of books, conversation and gentle transformation
There’s a certain nourishment we don’t always know we’re missing until it appears.
The kind that comes from sitting with like minded people who are curious about life, exploring ideas that matter, and letting conversations unfold in a space of warmth and respect.
It’s the joy of opening a book that sparks something within you. The delight of discovering new perspectives that shift the way you see yourself and your world. The comfort of feeling less alone in your questions, and more connected to the quiet wisdom that runs through all of us.
This is what the Living Wisdom Book Club offers.
It’s more than reading – it’s a little like group coaching, with each book chosen to guide us gently into reflection, conversation, and growth. And it’s simpler than coaching – held in the timeless rhythm of reading together, meeting together, and letting transformation happen in its own way.

What participants say
“I didn’t really have too many expectations other than gaining motivation to read a book per month… It delivered beyond anything I could have hoped for in many ways.”
“The experience of receiving the first book was genuinely like Xmas morning… Lois guided us through insightful questioning that opened up a depth of conversation between us all.”
“The meet ups were relaxed, offered meaningful conversation which really filled the proverbial (heart) cup… Everyone was so respectful of each other’s experiences and opinions & it really felt like the village or community coming together.”
“Every book helped me get a better understanding of myself, my thoughts and feelings… I noticed I was paying more attention and being more compassionate to my inner self.”
The arc of our journey
Without giving away the surprise of which books we’ll read, here’s the flavour:
- We begin gently with science-based wisdom that’s practical and uplifting.
- We move into the mythic and ancestral, with stories that reconnect us to earth, lineage, and spirit.
- We dive deeper, exploring frameworks that expand how we see body, mind, and energy.
- We close with inspiration and empowerment, grounding everything into action and possibility.
It’s not a course, and it’s not therapy – but it is a supportive, guided space where learning naturally leads to reflection, conversation, and transformation.
This isn’t about having the “right” answers. It’s about exploring together, in a space where you can be yourself, connect, and see what emerges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to finish every book?
Not at all. You’ll receive chapter summaries, so you can easily catch up. What matters most is the conversation and how the ideas land for you.
What if I can’t attend in person?
Each month there are two gatherings: the second-last Monday in person, and the last Monday online. If you can’t make it to Curl Curl, you’ll still be able to join the online circle and feel part of the community.
Can I join from outside Sydney?
Yes! The online meetings and the community space mean you can be part of the journey from anywhere.
What is the 1:1 Zoom session for?
It’s your personal time, to be used however you wish – from somatic exploration, to practicing an exercise from the books, to setting intentions or clarifying goals.
Is this therapy?
No. It’s not therapy, and it’s not a formal course. It’s a curated experience – part book club, part group coaching – where meaningful conversations and gentle shifts arise naturally.
