Health fund rebates
Acupuncture – from all major funds.
Chinese herbal medicine consultations – from most funds.
Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners – Chinese Medicine Board of Australia/ AHPRA
Accredited Acupuncturists, Chinese Herbalists – AACMA or ATMS
HICAPS on-the-spot rebates available for participating funds.
Cancellation Policy
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, otherwise a cancellation fee of 100% applies.
We reserve the right to refuse advance bookings for patients who late-cancel or no-show. In this case, patients may phone in the morning to request a same-day appointment.
Payment
Payment can be made by cash or card (EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
MediPay
Medipay is a third-party payment provider offering tailored financing for healthcare treatments, including Chinese Herbal and Acupuncture treatments. Patients can apply for pre-approved funding directly through the Medipay platform, subject to eligibility and credit assessment. If approved, treatment costs are paid directly to the clinic and repaid in instalments by the patient over an agreed period. This option may suit those needing more extensive treatment but who prefer to spread payments over time. All applications are managed independently via Medipay.
Chinese herbal medicine and other products
Please discuss with your practitioner. Generally allow for around $25-50 per week while undergoing corrective treatment. Maintenance treatment may involve lower dosage or different forms of delivery.
Herbal medicine comes in several forms, such as raw herbs (to be decocted into a medicinal tea), high strength granule extracts, high strength capsules or pills.
External therapies may include washes, creams, liniments, inhaling, steaming, ointments or plasters.
Other products may include take-home moxibustion therapy, books relevant to your condition, CDs or DVDs or other home therapies.
All products are priced accordingly by the individual practitioner.
Treatment Session Packs
Treatment packs* are an excellent way to save money on your weekly or fortnightly treatments, and reserve your preferred appointments in advance.
