We’re pleased to let you know that we’re now offering Telehealth appointments.

When do people choose Telehealth?

Here are some reasons you might choose Telehealth:

• You have symptoms of cold or flu and therefore can’t attend the clinic in person. We can offer you advice and guidance on how to manage your symptoms as well as offering Chinese Herbal Medicine if appropriate.
• You’re in quarantine because you’ve been in contact with someone who’s tested positive to COVID-19.
• You are not requiring acupuncture or other in-person services and would prefer to stay at home to meet your health care needs.
• You have people in your care, such as children or elderly people, and you would like targeted health advice and/or prescriptions from the comfort of your home.

What happens in a Telehealth session?

You may be used to seeing us as simply Acupuncture practitioners. But Acupuncture is just one technique in a rich and diverse body of health knowledge that has been handed down for centuries.

As an example of what we may bring to your unique situation, we can help you by giving you:

• Dietary advice
• Chinese Herbal Medicine if appropriate
• Probiotics, supplements or other products if appropriate
• Acupressure self-treatment
• A range of mind-body therapies such as Qi Gong, breathing practices, mindfulness or meditation exercises.

How do I know if Telehealth is for me?

We offer a 15-minute Free Consultation to new patients who are wanting to see whether our services are a good fit for their health needs.

We are happy to extend this Free Consultation to all our existing patients who are wondering how Telehealth may serve you.

This is an honest, no-pressure conversation about our expertise and guidance and how it may serve you and your needs.

I’m not great with technology and gadgets, is this complicated? Is it secure?

Your safety and privacy

Our Patient Management System is located only in Australia and is password-secured. Through that system, we use encrypted (code-protected) video calls. This technology is compliant with strict standards of health privacy.

Easy access

From your end, it couldn’t be simpler:

1. We will send you a link that is personal to you.
2. You simply go to a quiet, private place in your home or office and click on the link.
3. Whether you’re on your computer, phone or iPad, a browser window will open.
4. You’ll see two video screens – one is your practitioner, and the other is you.
5. Your video and audio should be already switched on, so all you need to do is say hello and enjoy your session!

Complete a Booking Request form and our admins will arrange everything for you. In the “Notes” section, please mention that you’d like a Telehealth appointment.
